We also have international offices in Montreal, Canada, and Zurich, Switzerland, and are expanding across Europe. The Associate Director, Marketing will support the development of portfolio assets. The Associate Director, Marketing will drive cross-functional collaboration and tactical alignment, ensuring success in the US and across the globe. This individual will lead the development of commercial deliverables, including market development and product adoption. This person will lead a strategic role on commercial product teams, work closely with Market Insights, Development, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and other key stakeholders, and should feel at home in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. This position requires excellent communication skills, strategic prowess, leadership, and a proven ability to influence the organization. The Associate Director, Marketing will report to the Sr. Director, Portfolio Marketing. Responsibilities
Serve as the commercial representative on the Product Teams Support development and implementation of global brand strategy, identifying opportunities and critical issues that can impact the brand Develop brand planning, positioning, messaging, brand name work, and brand imagery Develop insights on the external environment, market shaping initiatives, competitive landscape assessments, payer/reimbursement requirements, and unmet medical needs Help identify and support the development of key opinion leaders Uncover and address unmet needs by seeking expert insights, arranging and conducting advisory boards Complete market opportunity assessments and make recommendations on future indications/label expansions Lead agile, cross-functional team to develop/launch innovative marketing campaigns that will inspire behavioral change and drive brand growth; ensure aligned launch execution across functions Develop and track metrics to measure and ensure the success of marketing/promotional programs Drive innovative approaches and address untapped opportunities Work with the market insights team to develop forecasting assumptions and models Coordinate closely with Omni-channel marketing lead to build an effective customer engagement ecosystem Partner with Medical Affairs on publication planning and medical education strategies Partner with Value and Access to help develop the value proposition and access/reimbursement strategies Present business updates to the Senior Team and partner with regional teams to ensure diverse commercial insights are brought into the planning process No matter your role at BridgeBio, successful team members are: Patient Champions, who put patients first and uphold strict ethical standards Entrepreneurial Operators, who drive toward practical solutions and have an ownership mindset Truth Seekers, who are detailed, rational, and humble problem solvers Individuals Who Inspire Excellence in themselves and those around them High-quality executors, who execute against goals and milestones with quality, precision, and speed Education, Experience & Skills Requirements
5+ years of commercial biotech or pharmaceutical experience, with at least four years in Marketing Successful launch experience in a competitive market is preferred Rare disease experience preferred Demonstrated ability to develop actionable insights from complex clinical data and market research Understanding of the drug development process, especially regarding opportunities for differentiation and value demonstration Strong leadership skills and ability to influence functional stakeholders to set direction, align work efforts, and ensure outstanding execution Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills Ability to travel (~20%) is required Passionate about serving patients suffering from Genetic diseases High-level strategic thinking, with the ability to translate customer insights into actionable marketing strategy Proven self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team Able to handle full workload across multiple projects Collaborates seamlessly across functions to build effective working relationships and align on strategy and execution High level of self-awareness and understanding of the importance of self-monitoring behavior for continuous improvement True entrepreneurial spirit – BridgeBio was built to do things differently and address the needs of underserved populations, driven by science and unrelenting passion for patients What We Offer
