Overview:

Spathe is currently searching for a Graphic Designer to join our team in the Tampa, FL area.

Spathe Systems is a rapidly growing SOF led, 8(a) defense contractor headquartered in Tampa, FL with offices in Fayetteville, NC and strategic partner locations in Virginia Beach and Coronado. As a small business with a tight knit family feel, Spathe empowers its employees to solve problems and make decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Create mock-ups and prototypes for presentation
• Assist in creating specification documents for the Solution Development team
• Ensure all designs meet business objectives/goals, as well as meet corporate, brand and legal standards
• Review various marketing materials, including strategic/creative briefs and competitive reviews
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational skills

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of typography principles
• Understanding of design theory
• Ability to prepare web-ready graphics
• Experience with digital and print design

Job Type:

• Hourly (Part Time - 29 hours/week)

Work Location:

• One location HQ (Tampa, FL)

Travel:

• Up to 10% travel during the year.
