The Store Experiences Team is looking for a UX Researcher II with an end-to-end product perspective and the ability to create specific and actionable UX recommendations. This role will be responsible for user research on the Store on the operating system and the web, understanding the user funnel, identifying opportunities to deepen user engagement, and providing recommendations to inform the Store's product strategy and design explorations.
Responsibilities:
- Work in an agile environment with cross-discipline stakeholders to understand and prioritize research requests.
- Pull from a broad portfolio of research techniques from generative to evaluative to inform product and design decisions throughout the product cycle.
- Deliver timely and actionable research findings to key stakeholders and communicate those findings in clear and compelling ways.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the research insights are incorporated into the product.
- Evangelize the customer to design and engineering teams.
Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer empathy.
- Strong ability to work independently.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Experience with a broad range of research methodologies such as interviews, evaluative usability studies, surveys, scorecards, A/B testing, and competitive analysis.
- Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies is essential, with the ability to synthesize and analyze data from a variety of sources to inform decision-making.
- Experience with user research tools such as UserTesting, dscout, and Qualtrics.
- Proven experience designing and conducting research end-to-end for applied technology products.
- Proven capacity to turn research findings into actionable recommendations for engineering and business stakeholders.
- Experience in the e-commerce space, including online shopping and payment methods, is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human-computer interaction, experimental/social/cognitive psychology, behavioral science, human factors or a related field is preferred.
- Min 3+ years of industry experience in conducting qualitative research for consumer products.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $48.04 to $53.38 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
