About the Role
The Paid Social Media Strategist will be a key player charged with building and refining our paid social strategies, planning and client service. We want someone that can come in and make social their own kingdom, taking ownership and working hand in hand with clients and the planning team. The Social Media Strategist will be a key experimenter, communicator and collaborator with internal and external personnel and the client teams.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in paid social media in an agency environment
- Responsible for day to day social media campaign strategy, management, budgets and optimizations in support of client goals and innovations recommended to clients
- Daily use of reporting, analytics, and trend tools, including but not limited to Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, and less urgently Pinterest, Snapchat and LinkedIn
- Become a part of our clients’ marketing teams - manage day to day communication with clients including best practices, presentation decks and assisting with strategy and organic plans
- Develop strong working relationships with social vendors to stay up to date on new ad offerings and test opportunities
- Proactively research campaign issues and formulate actionable solutions
- Identify the variables that can be optimized and execute optimization.
- Aggregate results and prepare weekly summary and key learnings.
- Prepare/present campaign reporting including evolution of all KPIs like media spent, engagements, and granular analysis.
- Serve as the contact point for questions related to the campaign from client or other agencies involved in the weekly execution.
- Experience with Skai/Kenshoo a huge plus
