Tyler Technologies is looking for a passionate, creative, and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts for the Schools Team. The Marketing Manager is a strategic role on the vertical marketing team responsible for helping determine vertical marketing strategy, and for the management of all aspects of multi-faceted marketing projects and campaigns for the assigned vertical and product lines. Responsibilities include turning business objectives into marketing strategy and tactics by conducting research, developing comprehensive content and campaigns, and analyzing metrics. Collaboration with various marketing shared service functions, as well as sales and other business leadership, is important to the Marketing Manager's ability to succeed.

Responsibilities
  • Inbound Marketing Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive inbound marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Content Creation: Develop relevant and engaging content, including blog posts, white papers, case studies, email campaigns, and social media posts that speak directly to the needs of our audience.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a talented group of marketing professionals, fostering growth, collaboration, and creativity.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the development and implementation of lead generation campaigns that align with our sales goals and drive measurable results.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure all marketing efforts align with product offerings, audience needs, and brand standards.
  • Market Expertise: Become a subject matter expert on our products, audience, and market dynamics to inform content and campaign decisions.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize future efforts.
Qualifications
  • Proven Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable work experience with 8+ years in marketing, with a focus on inbound marketing, lead generation, or content marketing and at least 5 years of people management.
  • Exceptional Writing Skills: Ability to craft clear, compelling, and persuasive content tailored to different audiences.
  • Team Management: Experience leading and mentoring a team, with a collaborative and supportive leadership style.
  • Analytical Mindset: Skilled in using data to measure success and drive decision-making.
  • Self-Starter: Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects from start to finish.
  • Product Knowledge: Eagerness to learn about our products, audience, and industry to create relevant and impactful content. Technology/software industry and public sector experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo), CRM tools, and analytics software is a plus.


State-Specific Salary Range Disclosure Requirements

Salary will generally fall between $103,000 - $135,000 before adjustment for geographic differences. Recruiter can confirm if position is incentive eligible.
