Summary Position: Creative intern Timing: This full-time paid internship is 40 hours per week and runs January 16 – June 27, 2025. Location: St. Louis Deadline for submissions: November 1. We are looking for a Creative Intern to join our St. Louis office Creative team. Through data-driven intelligence, bold creative and strategic purpose, FleishmanHillard St. Louis has helped clients all over the world produce award-winning work across a fully integrated communications landscape. Two times a year, we hire a select group of highly qualified candidates for our internships to work with some of the best professionals in the industry. This full-time paid internship is 40 hours per week and runs from January 16 – June 27, 2025. This internship offers a hybrid work experience (remote and in-office). ART DIRECTION / DESIGN Our Art Direction/Design Interns work under the guidance of creative directors to strategize and execute various campaigns and projects for our clients. Having strong conceptual skills and an eye for design is required for the position. Our interns contribute directly to our workflow, and we are interested in seeing what they bring to the table—how they create something from nothing, how they visually bring ideas to life, how their process unfolds, and what kind of results they get. The ideal candidate will have the following experience: Completed or entering the final year of a 4-year graphic design or advertising degree or related program. A portfolio demonstrating a strong sense of conceptual skills, design aesthetic and typography. A willingness to learn and work within a team environment. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Experience and comfortability using Microsoft Office is a plus). Committed to cultivating diverse teams and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment. COPYWRITING Our clients are in need of all types of writing, from short form to long form. The Copywriter Intern should capture the voice of the client and tell their story the best way possible. They show us how to change someone’s mind with only words. The ideal candidate will have the following experience: Completed or entering the final year of a 4-year advertising degree or related program. A portfolio filled with conceptual ideas and smart copy. Proficient in Microsoft Office. A willingness to learn and work within a team environment. PROJECT MANAGERS Project Management Interns work directly with creative directors, account teams and clients to guide a process from start to finish. They demonstrate leadership qualities but operate best when working with others. This position teaches the intern how to manage several tasks at once, oversee projects, and value the importance of being a collaborative leader. The ideal candidate will have the following experience: Completed a 4-year business, marketing, or related degree program. Ability to work under aggressive deadlines. Strong leadership, management, communication and analytical skills. A willingness to learn and work within a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
