AVENUE MARKETING COORDINATOR SUMMARY:

The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the General Manager and the Management Team. The person will lead marketing initiatives, projects and tasks to enhance Avenue's brand visibility and foster customer engagement, ultimately leading to increased sales and revenue growth. Non-exempt.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Content Marketing: Create an engaging social media presence by utilizing high-quality photos and videos highlighting the ambiance, events, and special offerings content for all social media platforms and website.
  • Manage content calendar to be meticulously planned to guarantee consistent and strategic content sharing.
  • Monitor analytics to identify viable ideas and areas to optimize social media.
  • Provide support to the management team on-property including social media coverage & event operations.
  • Social Media Advertising: Target advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Tik Tok, and Instagram to connect with Avenue's desired audience.
  • Graphic Design: Create flyers/postcards/menus for printing as needed.
  • Email Marketing: Create bi-weekly communication with existing audience/database through well-crafted “newsletters”. These newsletters will keep subscribers informed about the latest updates, ongoing promotions, and upcoming events at Avenue.
  • Website Enhancement: Finalize the update to Avenue's website to serve as an effective online hub for information, reservations, and engagement.
  • Influencer Partnerships: Collaborate with relevant influencers to promote Avenue through sponsored posts and reviews within established monthly influencer budget.
  • Local Partnerships: Cultivate meaningful collaborations with nearby businesses, apartment communities, hotels and more. Through cooperative efforts, execute cross-promotions that mutually benefit both parties.
  • Media Outreach: Engage with local media outlets to secure coverage for Avenue.
  • Provide customer service support through social media listening.
  • Assist in keeping up-to-date digital influencer and media lists.
  • Help maintain photo and video library.
  • Assist in creating compelling events for Avenue, including but not limited to, promotional events, holiday events, and more. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Assist in coordinating materials with event sponsors and partners to ensure partnership requirements are met.
    • Distribute marketing collateral and help promote events.
  • Conduct weekly marketing meetings with Management Team to ensure close communication and effective management of marketing campaigns.


REQUIREMENTS:
  • Available to work 30 – 40 hours per week. Be on-site, at least 3 times per week.
  • Available to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends, and evenings.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator a plus.
  • Experience with media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Must have good communication skills and work well in a team setting or independently.
  • Ability to work well under deadlines and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently with a strong attention to detail.
  • Must be self-motivated, passionate, inventive, and energetic.
  • Must be organized, independent and be able to multitask.
  • Experience in hospitality and / or entertainment a plus.
