Overview:

Audacy St. Louis is looking for a Part-Time On-Air Personality/Mixer/DJ for Hot 104.1 St. Louis Source for Hip Hop (WHHL) and 96.3 The Lou R&B and Old School for The Lou (WFUN).

Our ideal candidate is an experienced DJ and mixer who is a natural communicator with a relatable personality. You will need the ability to create entertaining, engaging, and relevant experiences on-air and on social media. The position will require creativity, a strong work ethic, and the ability to execute engaging content that connects with the lifestyle of our target audience in the greater St. Louis area.



Responsibilities:

What You'll Do:

  • Perform a live or tracked mix show that follows the radio station music strategy as outlined by the brand manager.
  • DJ live or recorded programming and station events
  • Perform and execute a content-driven show as host/on-air personality.
  • Develop and post unique local and lifestyle-driven content to the station websites and social media.
  • Collaborate with Brand Manager and other employees on format execution and developing unique content for the show and social media.
  • Create original content and perform live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.
  • Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; managing online personality presence
  • Protect the stations FCC license
  • Monitor the music and commercial logs for the air shift
  • Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly
  • Operate the control board and perform production work
  • Other duties as required by management

In order to be considered, you will be required to submit your audio MP3 of 3MB or less



Qualifications:

Required & Preferred:

  • On-air experience in contemporary music formats
  • Experience with Wide Orbit Automation system, Adobe Audition, and Vox Pro
  • Experience DJing live events and creating commercial mixes
  • A valid drivers license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicants own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
