Our client, a nationally recognized and award-winning company in the health insurance vertical, has a contract opening for a Senior User Experience Design Analyst Job. They have over 4 million customers and 5,000+ employees dedicated to providing innovative solutions that simplify the healthcare system, improve efficiency and outcomes while reducing costs.

Location: ** While the position is Remote, work from home, you must reside in North Carolina or one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
Contract Duration: 6 + Months

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required). In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field
  • 5+ years of experience in related field.
  • Strong in UX, mapping high level user flows.
  • Working with design systems in Figma
  • Comfortable with UI
  • Doesn't get too stuck on a single idea; can come up with more than one way to solve a problem.
  • Component enhancements
  • Understanding Enterprise platforms and application
  • Concept of Data Visualization
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Understanding of UX writing, content hierarchy and comfortable adding placeholder content into their designs (not lorem ipsum)
What You Will Be Doing • Act as a lead resource for the team; aid on work issues, processes, or procedures.
• Review and provide feedback on information architecture, wireframes, test plans and other deliverables to ensure they align with standards and meet the business goals and objectives.
• Assist management with employee development initiatives, including coaching, performance feedback and training.
• Acts as the key liaison with 3rd party development vendors to provide usability feedback on their delivery of web sites and that will function or be connected to the environment.
• Facilitate creative discussions, review meetings, and ensure team collaboration on projects.
• Develop and implement usability standards and best practices that align with our corporate standards and usability best practices.
• Represent the voice of the user.
o Evangelize the importance of usability and drive user-experience design principles within the organization, and effectively present recommendations at the Director and VP level.
o Lead the user experience design on multiple large-scale projects or complex applications
• Lead staff in the planning and coordination of user research.
o Oversee and conduct user research as required.
• Proactively identify and communicate issues and opportunities
• Conduct site visits, contextual inquiries, lab-based and remote usability tests, surveys and/or other research to identify, understand and prioritize user needs and workflows; and prioritize and promote design recommendations based on research findings.
• Design user interfaces
o Translate business requirements, use cases and functional specifications into information architecture, user interface and interaction design for optimal user experiences
o Develop user experience documentation (wireframes and flows) detailing proposed solutions and revise as necessary to achieve stakeholder approval
• Evaluate proposed and existing designs
o Proactively drive UXD standards and process improvements on all projects
o Evaluate UI design at all stages of the development lifecycle (in wireframe form, in development and after implementation)
o Plan, organize and conduct usability testing sessions with both internal and external users
o Work collaboratively with Web Experience team members to ensure that visual design is user-friendly and consistent, and that copy is clear, concise, and user-friendly
