Summary:
The global head of Marketing Science leads a global team of client facing, analytically curious professionals, working to influence advertisers, agencies, and the industry as a whole on the need to make all marketing measurable. This work will require managing and inspiring a team across the globe and providing leadership within the external community. A successful candidate will drive insights and develop measurement strategies in service to the mission of helping all businesses grow, by transforming marketing practices, grounded in data in science.The person in this role will champion the industry adoption of Meta preferred measurement methods and products as well as managing the development of empirical research for individual clients and at the industry-level. Success will require activating the ecosystem, advising on and executing against the strategy for industry bodies, and accelerating the adoption of good measurement practices from advertisers.Leading candidates will have analytical and critical thinking skills as well as the ability to build deep relationships with executive level marketers and other C level roles. To successfully influence how clients conduct and use measurement, the candidate will need to work cross-functionally with advertisers, sales teams, and other members of the Marketing Science team. This role will also require working closely with the Product, Sales and Partnerships teams to develop or pilot new methodologies.

Lead a team of measurement professionals of varying skill levels across geographies, identifying opportunities for progression, building a leadership bench and identifying and nurturing future leaders
Represent the Marketing Science team internally and externally with cross functional teams and at industry events
Manage a complex set of client relationships across industry and client groups, functions and brands to drive our measurement objectives. Develop and nurture relationships with key sales leadership partners across the global and manage relationships with regional measurement leads to cross-share knowledge and best practices globally
Push clients to measure true business value by building and operationalizing "learning agendas" that highlight how a client can improve business outcomes by employing better measurement techniques. Drive client, vertical, and industry adoption of preferred measurement methodologies, products, and approaches in support of the learning agenda leading to client business growth.
Implement and monitor against a set of performance indicators the progress of each country and account
Develop a strategy for the use of consumer and advertising insights to help advertisers better understand the performance of their marketing spend
Conduct in-depth standard and custom ad effectiveness studies for Meta advertisers to understand the relative impact of different marketing strategies across digital platforms and across media
Communicate complex research results to a general audience at both internal and public events
Provide feedback to and collaborate with Product, Sale, and Partnerships to identify opportunities for new features, products, and partnerships and drive client engagement around measurement innovation, including product alphas and betas
Navigate complex and competing initiatives across Meta, synthesize opportunities and prioritize resource allocation to maximize against Meta, Business Acceleration Solutions and Marketing Science goals

Minimum Qualifications:

18+ years experience and expertise with advertising measurement methods and technologies
Demonstrated leadership skills at an industry level and with senior clients
Experience leading leaders across multiple geographies with team management credentials
Advanced quantitative skills and working knowledge of statistics and financial or statistical analysis
Experience communicating technical content to general audience and effectively at all levels of a client organization
Bachelor's degree
