POSITION PURPOSE

An HBW Construction Marketing Coordinator works for the Assistant VP for Pre-Construction to promote HBW's name in the marketplace. They support the business development and marketing activities while ensuring HBW's image is consistent, accurate and in line with the marketing plan.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Marketing Coordinator:
  • Creates electronic and hard copies of proposals using InDesign and prepares formal responses to customer qualification inquiries.
  • Supports the business development team by tracking opportunities in the customer relationship management (CRM) database.
  • Creates standardized and customized sales reports based on captured business development opportunities.
  • Prepares information and materials for business development sales presentations.
  • Updates HBW team resumes for proposals and business development activities.
  • Creates jobsite construction posters to ensure they are properly branded and compliant.
  • Assists the HBW Marketing Manager in executing marketing goals and initiatives.
  • Attends networking events to promote HBW and identify business opportunities.
  • Assists with planning and executing HBW corporate events.
  • Performs additional marketing and administrative tasks at the direction of the Marketing Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent organization, communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize assignments.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently and work under pressure to meet required deadlines.
  • Independent self-starter and good listener who can discern required steps to achieve goals without specific task direction.
  • Thrives in a friendly, fast-paced, team-oriented environment where accountability, work ethic and a "can do" attitude is a necessity.
  • Demonstrated understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to think and approach projects creatively.
  • One to two years' marketing and/or business development experience preferred, preferably in the A/E/C environment.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and MS Office Suite.
  • High school diploma required, college degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
Physical Qualifications
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to effectively verbally communicate and receive direction.
  • Frequently required to walk, sit, and use hands.
  • Must be able to visit and walk project sites.
