ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM: We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join our team as a Promotions Assistant within the Promotions department and Creative Services. The Promotions Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the Marketing and Promotions Coordinators, ensuring seamless operations and execution of promotional activities. This position requires adaptability, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. YOUR DAY-DAY: Support Marketing and Promotions Coordinators in planning, coordinating, and executing promotional campaigns and activities. Assist with day-to-day tasks including but not limited to: scheduling, vendor communication, and logistics coordination. Learn and understand the responsibilities of both Marketing and Promotions Coordinators to provide backup support during peak periods or absences. Assist with location scouting for promotional events and initiatives. Collaborate with the team in event planning and execution, ensuring all aspects are well-coordinated and executed seamlessly. Provide support in production-related tasks as needed, including but not limited to, setting up equipment, assisting with props, and ensuring smooth operation during productions. Assist with on-air promotion coordination, including scheduling and coordinating promotional spots. Participate in promotions plan pitching/brainstorming sessions, contributing creative ideas and insights. Interact with contest winners, distributing tickets or prizes, logging their information accurately, and maintaining documentation. Follow up with winners regarding any pending documentation and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and filed appropriately. YOU HAVE: Previous experience in a promotional or marketing-related role is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in task execution. Ability to adapt and learn quickly, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Willing to commute to and from city and neighboring suburbs.
