Total Wireless & Verizon Prepaid: At the forefront, we have Total by Verizon and Verizon Prepaid, our flagship brands available at Verizon exclusive and/or national/retail stores. Verizon Prepaid continues to maintain a robust and loyal consumer base, while Total by Verizon is on a rapid ascent, capturing the hearts of more customers with its compelling offerings. Straight Talk, Tracfone, and Walmart Family Mobile: Straight Talk, Tracfone, and Walmart Family Mobile stand as giants in our brand portfolio, boasting significant presence in Walmart. Their extensive reach and solidified position in the market underscore our commitment to accessible, high-quality wireless solutions across diverse retail environments. Visible: Visible, as a standalone brand family, caters to the digitally-savvy, single-line customers who prefer streamlined, online-first interactions. This brand is a testament to our adaptability, embracing the digital evolution of customer engagement. Simple Mobile: Carving out a niche of its own, Simple Mobile shines as the premier choice among authorized resellers. Its consistent recognition as the most carried brand in Wave7 Research’s prepaid dealer survey for 36 consecutive quarters speaks volumes about its popularity and reliability. What You’ll Be Doing: As the Portfolio Product Marketing Consultant, you will be supporting the foundational groundwork in mapping the distinct role of each prepaid brand within the Verizon Value Portfolio through ‘left to right’ differentiation across segments, pricing, product, and promotions. You’ll work hand-in-hand with various partners across the business, marketing, customer service, and more to ensure how the brands come to life aligns with and complements the overall brand mapping strategic approach across the portfolio. Supporting leadership with the ‘left to right’ view of brands to ensure distinct differentiation across all brands, and clearly articulates the role of each brand within the Verizon Value Portfolio. Digging into data and insights to help inform mapping of brand target segments (and potential new growth segments) and align each distinct target segment to the portfolio brand map. Partnering closely with brand leads to ensure differentiation throughout value proposition, pricing, product, and promotions. Managing the pricing ladder across all brands and identify areas of overlap and opportunities. Supporting with necessary insights to inform ‘left to right’ differentiated phrases that pay, and partner with Marketing to transform the phrases into consumer facing comms. Assisting in the development and planning of a portfolio-wide product marketing growth strategy (annual and quarterly) that clearly outlines approach, thematic calendar, and brand plans. Partner closely with Brand Leads and Integrated Marketing/Marketing to build one comprehensive VVO plan. Becoming immersed with consumer, company, and competitive insights to stay ahead of trends that may impact the portfolio’s marketing growth plan (and optimize accordingly). Supporting in evangelizing the brand mapping, target segments, and pricing ladder among cross-functional working teams to support on delivering growth initiatives by brand. Maintaining an insights driven prepaid thematic calendar for the portfolio and continuously stay current with consumer behaviors that may impact the calendar. Updating and maintaining portfolio wide roadmaps outlining big rocks across value prop, promos, products, and product launches. Supporting team leadership with governance and team operations. You’ll Need to Have: Bachelor's degree or two or more years of work experience. Four or more years of relevant work experience. Even Better If You Have One or More of the Following: MBA. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office. Understanding of Verizon processes and systems. Experience in telecommunications or CPG. Experience in segmentation and marketing growth strategy Strong project management skills, efficient multitasking is vital to success. Experience managing and influencing client relationships at the senior executive level. Ability to present and interact with all levels of management. Impeccable managerial skills and excellent communication skills and executive presence. Presented findings and insights targeted to what that audience cares about (up to the executive level). Ability to influence without direct authority. Where you’ll be working In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager. For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances. If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $108,000.00 and $200,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
