The role is responsible for developing, overseeing, and executing marketing and advertising plans designed to increase revenue, drive fan engagement and positively impact our clients' business and exceed goals. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates and executes strategic marketing plans to meet determined objectives for clients across paid, owned and earned channels.
- Act as primary point of contact with clients by creating and implementing marketing strategies, supervising client accounts, fostering positive client relationships, analyzing market trends, overseeing budgets and collaborating with internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of campaigns and day-to-day marketing responsibilities.
- Work with internal and external teams to develop compelling content that embodies and personifies brand, drives awareness of key messages and complements all marketing efforts.
- Create content to support advertising campaigns to drive results and key performance metrics. Develop and work with creative and production teams to create content, including copy, graphics and video elements.
- Helps drive revenue in all channels through the development and execution of marketing and branding campaigns to drive ticket sales, increase revenues and generate season ticket leads.
- Oversee channel and content plan and execution for assigned clients inclusive but not limited to email, social, website, app, onsite, event activation, advertising, media partnerships, 3rd party management.
- Work in partnership with and support of client ticket sales and service departments to increase ticket sales and retain season ticket members. Develop collateral and digital support for all sales efforts. Contribute to the development, implementation and analysis of marketing and sales campaigns.
- Develop annual promotions giveaway plan for sports clients designed to maximize ticket sales, add value to fan experience, generate media attention and extend the brand.
- Develop fan engagement initiatives, including loyalty programs, where it aligns with client objectives.
- Work with AdTech team and media partners to develop strategic plan and launch campaigns aimed at driving revenue and ticket sales.
- Act as the brand advocate for sports clients by staying true to brand essence and guidelines to ensure consistency at every touchpoint.
- Track marketing, advertising, social media, technology and content trends and assist with developing strategic plans to proactively recommend and implement new ideas for clients and CUENTO.
- Oversee the sports marketing team along with strategic plans to final execution for a variety of clients and projects, balancing a fast-paced environment and varying sports brands and leagues.
- Minimum of seven years professional work experience.
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience in marketing or advertising, sports industry experience is required.

- Experience in a leadership role with direct oversight of budgets, marketing staff, and strategy.
- Must demonstrate extensive experience in marketing in the sports industry with expertise in marketing planning and execution, copywriting, content development, advertising and brand advocacy.
- Organized, detail-oriented, communicative and resourceful is a must.
- Strong analytical skills are required with proven ability to gauge performance, impact and create recommendations to further growth and address insights.
- Must be a strong collaborator with good time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and communication skills in all channels and formats a requirement with a demonstrated ability to correctly use punctuation and grammar.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of industries of focus or ability to learn quickly and resourcefully along with current events and trends.
- Exudes a positive attitude with a self-starter mentality
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently both internally, with clients and third-party partners.
- Proficient in WordPress a plus with the requirement to learn the platform.
- Google and Facebook Certifications a plus with demonstrated proficiency in Google, Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of various Adobe software (Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator) a plus.
