Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Marketing Director to lead our branding, events, and community outreach initiatives. This role will be pivotal in driving our state and practice expansion efforts, ensuring consistent brand visibility, and engaging with our community through creative marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event planning, community engagement, and brand management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Public Relations Management: Strategize, develop, manage, and execute proactive and reactive public relations efforts across the firm on both single event and mass tort litigations.
  2. Media Advising: Advise attorneys on press strategy for cases and developments.
  3. Earned Media Plans: Develop earned media plans for firm news (office openings, hirings, etc.)
  4. Content Creation: Draft and/or edit all press materials, ensuring they effectively communicate the firm's messaging.
  5. Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with media representatives, manage media inquiries and interview requests, and coordinate media coverage for the firm's activities.
  6. Media Monitoring: Supervise media monitoring and tracking, keeping abreast of public opinion about our firm and addressing any negative press promptly.
  7. Awards and Surveys: Manage awards and survey submissions, ensuring the firm's accomplishments are suitably recognized.
  8. Internal Communications: Support leadership and HR in internal communications with employees, fostering a culture of transparency and engagement.
  9. Collaboration with Marketing: Liaise with the marketing team to devise media plans that elevate their work and the firm's brand.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a communications or public relations role, preferably within a law firm or legal services setting.
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong network of media contacts.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.


Compensation Range:

$125,000-$150,000 USD

Benefits: Full Time Employees and Part Time Employees over 30 hours per week
