Wargame Designer

ManTech is seeking a Wargame Designer in support of a government contract for wargaming in Quantico, Va.
A wargame designer is responsible for creating and executing wargame events which can include major matrix style games, table-top exercises, and other simulation-based activities.
General Responsibilities:
Create custom wargame designs that address specific objectives and research questions.
Facilitate and adjudicate wargames, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively and meet desired objectives.
Work with the game director and lead analyst to create an environment that is tailor made to achieve the analytical objectives of the game.
Develop innovate game mechanics that can improve analysis.
Leverage technology such as integrating modeling and simulations into decision-based wargames.
Collaborate with other wargame designers and developers as a part of a wargame design team
Develop a design document and game rules for each design.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years’ experience. A total of 8 years’ experience without a degree
Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
Experience with planning and accomplishing designer goals and directing others in this work
Clearance Requirements
:
Current Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
