The Senior Designer will play a key role on Verizon's 3D Retail store design and visual merchandising team. You will be working to bring Verizon's current fleet of retail stores to life, while looking forward to new opportunities for growth. Strong knowledge and experience of retail architecture and design is critical to this role.
What you'll be doing:
Working in conjunction with design directors, project managers, global marketing teams, graphic design teams, and industrial design teams working on Retail Design Concepts.
Helping lead conversations and strategy on Retail Store Design with internal and external partners.
Developing designs and translating them into guidelines and new store designs for site specific locations.
Strategizing with Creative Director, Design Director, and external design firms to develop presentations for Chief Executive-level conversations.
Providing design direction to teams on the creation of materials for presentations.
Supporting concept development and execution on multiple projects.
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or two or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in 3D Modeling Software, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe CS
Experience in Retail Design.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Bachelor's degree in a 3D discipline.
Eight or more years of relevant work experience in retail design.
Interior design or architecture background, with six or more years of retail design or hospitality experience.
Experience in fixture design, knowledge of visual merchandising, and customer experience strategies.
A passion for retail design and experience within 3D design.
Experience in Augmented, Virtual, and Mixed Reality.
The ability to clearly convey information and ideas through various methods.
The ability to prepare various levels of presentations (3D sketch to photo realistic renderings).
The ability to maintain effectiveness when experiencing changes in work tasks or the work environment, structures, processes, requirements, or culture.
Are well versed in the telecommunications retail product category in the market place and have knowledge and awareness of the competitive landscape.
Where you'll be working In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $96,000.00 and $178,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
