Product Marketing Manager.

The Opportunity

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will lead our Indoor Products category, and to help drive revenue and margin growth across multiple product segments. In this role you are the Voice of the Customer, responsible for launching and managing industry leading LED lighting products. This position reports to our VP, Research and Development and is based in our Racine WI, Headquarters.

Responsibilities Identify opportunities for new product development and product enhancements aligned with the corporate strategy and business needs. Works cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Service teams ensuring that Cree Lighting has the product portfolio, performance, positioning, and pricing to win. Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive Voice of Customer input and be the champion for a product line to achieve revenue and profitability goals.

Keys to Success in the Role Ability to digest complex data to draw meaningful conclusions and work with others to turn that gained knowledge into strategy and action. A demonstrated problem solver, who exhibits exceptional follow-up with a positive demeanor. Proven ability to gain trust and respect from those you work with, especially when responding when a situation has not got to plan. Being willing to advocate for a position base on fact, knowledge and logic. Be eager to engage with co-workers to gain consensus and drive action.

Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, in Business, Marketing, or Engineering. Master's degree in Business (MBA), Marketing, or Engineering valued. 3-5 years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, or similar experience. LED lighting fixture and industry experience preferred. Experience in Petroleum and/or Indoor Commercial verticals with lighting products & applications highly desirable. Excellent presentation and written communication skills. This position is on-site Monday - Thursday, remote Friday and will travel up to 30%. Exceptionally well qualified remote candidates will be considered.
