Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry , is seeking an ENG Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the operations team supporting the production process. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: ENG Technical Writer Location: Cordova, IL Pay Range: $30/HR Benefits Schedule: Mon-Fri, Flexible Working 8-HR Schedule, starting shift between5:30 -8:00 AM. Possible over time based on business need. Contract Duration: 12-Months Job Function: Convert existing procedures from Word documents into user-friendly electronic operating procedures using the 3M MES Workflow interface. Transcribe detailed information on batch chemical processes into a structured task list for production floor tablets. Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and clarity in documentation. Participate in a kick-off call to discuss project requirements and expectations. Adhere to safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment while on-site. Qualifications: Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing setting or with manufacturing machinery. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word. Ability to learn and work with the 3M MES Workflow system. Technical certification in a manufacturing background is preferred. High School Graduate or GED is required.
