ABOUT THE ROLE This position will have a design or technical focus and be a member of our multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with design and technical leadership and will be an integral part of project teams. Under the direct supervision of designated project leadership the primary responsibilities will include the following:

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO With limited direction, Assist Senior Interior Designer and/or Project Manager with the execution of the project goals throughout all phases (Programming, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration). Assist in the development of the design including planning and three-dimensional studies. Independently assist in the design development and documentation of interior spaces to include drawings of floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, pattern designs, elevations, details, etc. Provide support to the Senior Interior Designer with furniture, fixtures and equipment (FFE) selection, layout and specifications throughout all phases of interior design work, as required. Produce drawings in conformance with project time, cost and quality constraints. Identify, research and apply building and life safety codes to applicable interior design work. Prepare renderings and other presentation materials. Follow CannonDesign drawing standards. Participate in client meetings with Senior Interior Designer to gain client interaction and presentation experience. Participate in construction administration activities, including site visits, review of submittals and shop drawings, and conducting punch list. Site visits frequently require a physical walk-through of site. Mentor less experienced interior design staff and provide guidance in the development of project documents. Actively participate and promote design quality. Understand proper application of materials. May perform other duties as required.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Bachelor or Master's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture required. Minimum of 4 years of related experience required.

Current NCIDQ certification is preferred.

Must be able to participate the development of projects' technical or design characteristics and content. Strong creative design portfolio is essential as are strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.

Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.

Travel as required.

The salary range for this position to be filled in our Denver, CO office is $55,130 to $68,913 a year. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
