OverviewHEYDUDE is hiring a Director of Global Consumer Public Relations, Events & Influencer to lead global marketing efforts. The role focuses on building a premier strategy to grow brand and product awareness through media and consumer-focused outreach and events. You will partner with the brand marketing team, the collaborations team, product, and ecommerce channels to deliver magnificent storytelling and drive impactful media results.We are excited to bring this new position to life with someone who can bring our fast growing brand to new heights!What You'll DoStrategically build and coordinate global consumer PR and Influencer strategies and activations that will have a significant impact on brand perception and product desirabilityDevelop detailed annual planning for brand and product support and storytellingDrive communication strategies for coordinated marketing campaigns, product launches, and collabsIdentify real-time quick-strike opportunities while leading strategy and activationPlan and complete in-market activations and product showcasing events for consumers and media to increase awareness, trial, and affinityCraft strategies, tools, and templates to scale PR-focused marketing and influencer activations globallyCoordinate with the PR agency to facilitate progress updates and project tracking, support budget management, prioritize tasks, and effectively communicate status and plans to internal collaborators, as neededBuild detailed PR activation plans for Global Marketing, including media materials, messages, andtimelinesCoordinate with regional teams for local implementationContinuously measure and analyze the value of PR, including return on investment, to guide the delivery of actionable optimization recommendations for improved performance and growthAct as the primary point of contact for Product, Program, or Coordinated Marketing-specific media inquiries and interview requestsOffer strategic advice, input, and suggestions to the coordinated marketing group and cross-functionalcollaborators in relation to PR assistance, event and influencer activations for brand/productCollaborate with teams from various departments to establish objectives, establish budgets, and identify meaningful measures of ROI for media and customer-focused eventsActively monitor HEYDUDE and broader media trends in footwear and related categories, working closely with cross-functional teams to swiftly activate as applicableWhat You'll Bring to the TableBS or BA or equivalent experience in public relations, mass communications, journalism, or are related field10+ years of PR agency or brand experience with a consistent record in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExperience in the footwear industry and globally scaled experience are not required, but a bug plusProficient in project management and skilled in leading cross-functional teams. Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote).
