Exciting Opportunity: Radio Frequency Technician
Location: On-Site
Schedule: Monday to Thursday | 10-hour shifts | 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Radio Frequency Technician to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of cutting-edge RFID technology used in critical railroad operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Put Your Skills to the Test: Conduct AC/DC electrical tests and troubleshoot defective units to ensure everything operates flawlessly.

  • Solve Complex Problems: Diagnose and repair issues down to the component level, using tools like network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.

  • Be Part of Something Bigger: Assemble, program, and test RFID equipment to meet critical customer specifications for the railroad industry.

  • Think Like an Engineer: Read schematics, interpret technical drawings, and communicate solutions with engineers, customers, and your team.

  • Take Ownership: Document processes, perform modifications, and ensure every product meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.



What We’re Looking For

  • Experience & Expertise:

    • At least 4 years of experience in Electronic Technology or equivalent education/training.

    • Deep understanding of radio communication hardware, especially RFID transceivers.

    • Hands-on experience with 2-way radio systems is a big plus!

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in radio programming software and Windows-based systems.

    • Ability to operate a variety of tools, including power tools and specialized test equipment.

  • Problem Solver: Strong ability to analyze and address technical issues logically and effectively.

  • Clear Communicator: Capable of producing technical documentation and effectively explaining solutions to customers and team members.

What You Need to Know

  • Assessments Matter: All applicants must pass an onsite soldering and electronics test during the interview process. These tests, along with a facility tour, take about one hour.

  • Assignment Type: Temporary, with the potential for future opportunities.

Pay Details: $27.00 per hour
