Regina High School is hiring a talented and experienced Marketing Manager. This position manages the marketing and communications for Regina High School; school website, social media, press releases and school publications.
Position Overview
The Marketing Manager will develop and execute Regina High School's day-to-day communication and outreach. Specifically, the manager will support and promote all school departments, including, but not limited to, administration, advancement, admissions, alumnae relations, academics, counseling, athletics, parent groups, and student groups.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Production and delivery of all communications (traditional and non-traditional) from concept to completion, including writing, designing, editing, proofreading, publishing, and media placement In charge of maintaining and continuously building all digital presence (website, mobile app, social media channels, paid social, etc.) Develop a yearly marketing plan Provide quarterly reports for the Regina Board of Directors on progress and future marketing plans Establish and maintain relationships with area publications, media, partner schools, parishes, businesses, and the Regina community to market Regina High School Promote Regina High School to partner schools and parishes with flyers for events/upcoming deadlines, advertisements in their auction/gala programs/weekly parish bulletins, social media posts, and the donation of spirit wear Take, edit, and post photos from Regina events, including daily activities in and outside of the classroom, students, faculty, and alumnae accomplishments, athletic events, club activities and alumnae events, admissions events Act as a liaison between administration, advancement, and admissions when addressing questions or concerns via social media Meet internally with administration to keep the website calendar up-to-date Maintain an outdoor sign with relevant information/upcoming dates and a lobby slideshow with a monthly calendar, cafeteria menu, faculty/staff information, etc. Communicate regularly with a website company to maintain a website/mobile app and keep content fresh Set up pages, web forms, and e-commerce carts on the website to streamline event sign-ups, registrations, and payments Author press releases to be sent out on behalf of Regina High School and promote articles that are published about Regina on social media accounts Work closely with the Admissions Director to plan, promote, and execute monthly events to engage prospective students Work closely with the Advancement Director to brainstorm, plan, promote, and execute events and fundraising efforts Maintain the repository of digital assets, including photos, videos, and graphic files Continuously brainstorm new ideas and tools to help promote past, present, and future students Ability to work weekends and nights as needed to cover special events and post follow-up photos/articles/updates as needed Other duties as assigned Demonstrated non-technical and personal skills
Strong oral and written communication skills Project planning and execution (define the project, develop appropriate work plans, drive projects to successful completion) Team building and long-term commitment Problem-solving for and execution of research on the strategic market or opportunities/issues Attention to detail and logical solid reasoning Adaptable to a continually evolving environment and thrive in an autonomous and deadline oriented workplace Excels at operating in a fast-paced, community environment Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills
Preferred BA/BS or five years relevant equivalent position experience Proficient in Canva, Extensive knowledge with Microsoft Office and Google Apps Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor
