We are seeking an experienced B2B Product Marketing Leader to help drive national go to market, develop customer-first strategy and define a high-performance integrated demand plan. The ideal candidate must have an innate understanding of business buyers, eCommerce and demand generation best practices. They will love and will be truly passionate about product marketing - and the incredible impact it can have on revenue.
This role is the glue that binds our product and GTM strategy to the tactics we need to drive success in sales and marketing and to achieve results.
You will be the payments product evangelist and will play an integral role in organizing product launches.
You will be responsible for everything from initial product concepts to campaign reporting - it starts and lives with the Product Marketing team.
Your role includes developing market-leading strategies, crafting targeted campaigns, supporting product development, vertical expansion, and rallying the cross-functional team to build unstoppable sales momentum.
You know our competitors like the back of your hand: what they do today and what they plan to do in the future. You also know our buyers better than they know themselves, including how they make their buying decisions. This isn't guesswork. You back up strategic insights with market evidence and then use that knowledge to drive the development of positioning and messaging that resonates with buyers and empowers our sales channels to be successful.
Responsibilities
Own in-depth global market understanding through sales insight, market research, voice of the customer and competitive analysis. Become an expert in our verticals, technology and lead relevant strategy to the business.
Sharply position products and consistently execute that in market, supported by well-defined market segmentation and personas.
Create and communicate a clear and consistent vision for the business line, with ongoing measurement and optimization.
Help shape the product and service offerings or package existing ones from concept to launch, collaborating with internal experts, industry analysts, research and clients to produce intelligent and insightful products that address key customer needs.
Define and own aggressive, measurable sales and marketing plans to sell to, and through, customers.
Understand the competitive landscape and be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, field marketing, and sales leadership to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas.
Understand and document our buyer's process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make. Then drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn.
Develop effective launch plans and go-to-market strategies for the products you support in conjunction with our product development and marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
Assess the effectiveness of the go-to-market programs that support your products on an ongoing basis, and report back with tangible metrics to the business on required changes.
Plan the launches of net-new products and releases of existing products and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
Act as the primary thought leader for the products you support externally, including speaking engagements and written works.
Collaborate across multiple departments to deliver effective sales presentations, internal documentation, digital collateral pieces, website content, competitive intelligence, videos, case studies, content assets, and other market-ready materials designed to educate and drive market demand.
Qualifications
5+ years of product marketing experience with at least 3 years of experience in a market-facing role.
Demonstrated success in driving revenue, new markets and sales acceleration with smart Product Marketing plans.
Experience with national expansion.
Strong cross-functional leadership.
Proven GTM approach and process that can be implemented quickly within the organization.
Ability to fight for the best possible customer experience at ALL levels.
