We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to drive our business growth through commercial sales and development.
Position Overview: The Director of Marketing will be the creative force behind our company’s marketing strategy, transforming our vision into impactful campaigns that resonate within the drug discovery industry. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase awareness of the company's drug discovery services and drive business growth. Create marketing materials, including case studies, white papers, brochures, and presentations, that showcase our scientific expertise and successful client collaborations. Generate marketing collateral to support the commercial team, including battle cards, SWOT analyses, and other sales tools, and educate the sales team and other externally facing individuals to ensure consistent messaging Manage the company's digital presence, including website content, SEO/SEM strategies, social media engagement, and email marketing campaigns to generate leads. Lead market research initiatives to understand industry trends, client needs, and competitor strategies, and use insights to refine marketing tactics. Collaborate with sales and business development teams to align marketing initiatives with revenue goals and ensure cohesive messaging. Plan and execute participation in industry conferences, webinars, and other events, positioning the company as a thought leader in the drug discovery space. Manage external agencies and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of marketing campaigns and materials. Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize future campaigns. Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or life sciences (MBA or advanced degree preferred). 7+ years of experience in marketing within the CRO or life sciences sector, with a focus on B2B marketing. Proven experience developing and executing successful marketing strategies for scientific services or products. Strong understanding of drug discovery processes and the CRO market landscape. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including CRM, email marketing, social media, and analytics tools. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in lead generation and nurturing marketing campaigns.
Compensation: $150,000 - $170,000
