The Role AXS is seeking a Senior Design Systems Designer to grow and maintain a comprehensive design system that ensures consistency, efficiency, and high-quality user experiences across all digital products. They will be responsible for maintaining a centralized design system library and/or repository to house and organize design assets. What Will You Do? Lead and collaborate with product designers and front end developers to design and implement robust, flexible components, patterns and guidelines. Develop comprehensive design system standards, usage guidelines and best practices to ensure consistent and high-quality user experience across all product and platforms. Champion design excellence and advocate for the value of a cohesive design system across the organization. Ensure the design system is scalable, adaptable, and meets the needs of various product teams. Facilitate design reviews to promote adoption of design system and provide guidance to design and developer on how to effectively apply design system components. Conduct regular design audits of product interfaces to ensure adherence to the design system. Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools and technologies and seek opportunities to improve the design system based on user feedback and industry best practices. Work closely with product designers, product managers, and developers to ensure the design system is implemented accurately and consistently across all products. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the design system and identify opportunities for optimization. What Will You Bring? 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI, Product Designer or a Design Systems Designer. Experience in creating and maintaining complex symbols, tokens and libraries in Figma, including design patterns, style guides, and documentation. Experience deploying, maintaining, improving, and speaking to a design system across a large organization. Advanced understanding of Figma’s features for design systems (variables, nested components, modes, etc). Advanced understanding of design principles, design systems, visual language, and interaction guidelines. Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines, and experience in designing accessible digital products and services. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Pay Scale:
