Our team crafts compelling, audience-centric stories for all digital platforms, enhancing the brand’s presence across all B2C and B2B touch points.
We are seeking a
Senior Content Creator
to join our exciting new Content Studio team. As a Senior Content Creator, you will contribute to all aspects of video content that support our brand, marketing, and communication goals. As a key member of this new team, the Senior Content Creator will play an essential role in creating impactful video content that brings our brand stories to life and resonates with audiences across channels.
This is a
hybrid role out of our San Francisco office , home to our Content Studio. On-site presence will vary based on project needs, including in-studio editing sessions and capturing content. Occasional travel to other locations may be required for on-site shoots.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for capturing, editing, and enhancing video content with a strong focus on quality, creativity, and consistency. You’ll report into our Creative Director, Content Studio, and collaborate closely with our Executive Producer and the Creative and Marketing team to deliver high-quality content that aligns with Atlassian’s brand standards and engages our audience.
The ideal candidate is a nimble and adaptable creator with strong experience in video editing, video production, and post-production within a Content Studio setting for in-house brands and/or agencies. This person should be skilled at crafting visually compelling stories that can reflect the Atlassian brand, combining creative vision with technical expertise to achieve an exceptional final product.
Responsibilities:
Editing:
Strong editing skills to create polished video content through effective storytelling and pacing. Handling tasks like trimming footage, adding transitions, refining audio, and integrating simple graphics.
Content Creation:
Hands-on capturing high-quality video content using an iPhone, mirrorless camera, and production cameras in a style that aligns with Atlassian’s brand standards and resonates with our audiences.
Basic Color Grading:
Perform minor color grading to maintain a consistent, cohesive look and enhance visual quality. Coordinating with external color graders for specialized projects that require professional color correction and grading.
Motion Graphics:
Create simple, impactful motion graphics to elevate content and highlight key messages. Incorporating motion graphics by collaborating with our in-house motion design team.
Collaboration:
Work closely with team members to brainstorm, plan, and execute content projects that reflect Atlassian’s voice and mission.
On-Camera Presence (Bonus):
Bring our stories to life by occasionally appearing on camera to engage directly with audiences as a host, specifically for social media content.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience as a Senior Content Creator, Videographer, Editor, or similar role.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and basic graphic design tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Familiarity with color grading techniques and basic motion graphics (DaVinci Resolve).
Strong storytelling skills and ability to visually communicate brand messages.
Competent with both phone, mirrorless cameras, and production cameras for quality content capture.
(Bonus) Experience or comfort with on-camera appearances.

Compensation: At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn, we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $140,000 - $186,700
Zone B: $126,000 - $168,000
Zone C: $116,200 - $155,000
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
