Bachelor's degree 15+ years of experience in senior-level marketing and communications roles Experience developing, leading and implementing integrated marketing and communications strategies and plans Marketing and measurement-oriented mindset Brand strategy expertise Ability to navigate complex environments and create clarity in communications Strong business acumen and strategic thinking Ability to develop and navigate relationships at all levels and collaborate with corporate and business unit teams Ability to coach and counsel C-suite executives and be a trusted advisor Excellent communicator, content developer and storyteller Experience managing agencies and other marketing and communications partners Knowledge of automotive industry Responsibilities
The position will report to the Sr. Director of Marketing, Model e, who reports to the Vice President, Head of Marketing and Product Planning This role can be remote within the US, or hybrid out of Dearborn, MI The Head of New Vehicle Marketing Communications will be responsible and accountable for creating and implementing the new vehicle launch strategy for future Ford EV products This work is done by leading a cross-functional group of internal team members and agency partners to achieve the new vehicle business objectives In this role, you will provide the strategic force expertise, data driven insights, and plan to execute and continuously optimize our marketing communications strategy and guide our business decisions to drive sustainable growth Develop new vehicle tease, reveal and launch strategy including, messaging and positioning by audience that drives customer/consumer engagement and dealer support Develop and execute a strategic integrated communications and marketing GTM calendar Oversee integrated, multi-channel communications and marketing and manage through channel-based experts that include employee, internal, external, social, earned, and paid media, thought leadership, digital, web, email, events Ensure integrated messaging alignment across all communications working closely w/Ford MediaComms and Media Understand competitive landscape to develop clear value proposition for new Ford vehicles to win Develop and implement the Model e marketing and advertising strategy based on rigorous analytics and measurement tools to support growth and profitability objectives Collaborate with internal stakeholders on strategic and financial planning processes (e.g., Business Reviews, Forecasts, Annual Planning) Benefits
