Our client, a well-known fashion brand, is seeking a

Product Development Assistant

to join their team on a temp/contract basis, full-time hours.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for BOM data entry and management throughout the product development cycle Maintenance of BOM’s throughout product life cycle and update each season. Work with oversea factories on BOM update for all sampling stages. Manage internal data and follow strict deadlines. Participate in fittings and update changes/implications to quality, cost, aesthetic, and delivery for different styles. Daily correspondence and follow up with both domestic and oversea offices and factories. Conduct cross functional team meetings to address immediate concerns or upcoming matters. Support Product Development Manager to adhere development SKU count; review and ensure BOM is buy-ready prior to Purchase Order. Maintain an accurate record of style history in PLM – BOM, allocation, supplier request and quote, and tracking. Report and track development sample seasonally.

Qualifications: BA in Fashion design or product development. 1+ years of prior experience within product development in a corporate setting. Must have prior experience with BOMs. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and PLM (Required). Strong knowledge of operational excellence & research skills. Ability to be flexible and support change initiatives within the division and work in a fast pace environment. Ability to work independently. Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
