Based in Stamford, CT, WWE is seeking a Senior Broadcast Engineer. This individual will provide mission-critical technical support for live studio productions. They must have a broad understanding of Production technologies and the willingness to learn new ones. Must have experience with 2110 Routing systems. Must be a team player and communicate well with their peers and production staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support studio Productions as the EIC with well-documented system checks before production starts and maintain operations through to the end of show • Has a deep understanding of RTS intercom systems and Riedel Bolero and can configure a system based on Production requirements. • Has worked with IP KVM systems. • Has extensive understanding of EVS XT-VIA playback and ingest systems. • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and repair of various equipment, including Sony Cameras, Evertz 2110 routing system, Multiview systems, Grass Valley switchers, and Transmission workflows. • Work with the Operation and Production teams to ensure productions are running as efficiently as possible from an engineering standpoint • Maintains Production reports and SOPs for all workflows
Requirements:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting the Engineering Department. • Robust knowledge and understanding of Live HD studio productions • Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including Weekends and Nights. • Proficient at communicating problems and solutions to technical and non-technical personnel alike and will help develop new processes, technologies, and techniques that will help improve the facility's running. • Experience and understanding of Evertz Vista link and Ross Dashboard. • Experience with broadcast/production equipment, including tape machines, displays, routers, rasterizers, and other peripherals. • Must have strong technical skills and be self-motivated/resourceful to grow core competency continually. • Must have excellent documentation and communication skills to facilitate effective results with staff and technology providers. • Experience creating AutoCAD system drawings. • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
