Summary: Are you familiar with drafting and/or construction engineering practices? If so, this position may be for you! MEVA is looking for a Technical Designer to join our Engineering Team. Location: • Springfield, OH – MEVA USA Headquarters

Duties and Responsibilities: • Maintain standards of health and safety and follow all safety guidelines • Production of formwork and shoring layout designs • Maintain excellent level of knowledge regarding formwork and accessories • Maintain excellent communication with sales team and an excellent level of customer service • Consult with engineers, architects, builders/contractors to discuss plans and compliance with various codes • Generate bills of material and update internal spreadsheets • Maintain an excellent level of communication with all MEVA departments • Assist with design output of team members and review of drawings and bills of material • Assist with onsite consultations and assembly demonstrations (as needed)

Skills and Qualifications: • Associates Degree in CAD Technology, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field required • Significant AutoCAD and/or Revit experience; 2 years minimum • Familiarity with formwork and shoring layout and design a plus • Knowledge of BIM software use a plus • Computer use and knowledge of Microsoft Programs required • Ability to interpret and communicate regarding formwork and shoring layouts, building codes and other related codes • Ability to work efficiently with sales team, customer service, contractors and architects • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to read detailed blueprints and effectively convey information regarding products and services • Willingness to complete training opportunities to advance education and technical Skills
