Coordinate & lead Weekly fits on form and with live fit models.
Receive, measure, and prepare Fit/PP Samples for weekly fits.
Communicate pattern/fit corrections to overseas factories/vendors.
Partners with Design to understand fit intent and aesthetic to ensure it translates into proto/1st fit sample.
Review samples for any potential safety issues/hazards/risks, and address to the internal cross-functional partners and factory.
Own Lovey construction specification and quality approvals.
Ensure the factory is using best sewing/construction practices, while also meeting company standards.
Work with TD department Manager to maintain and update Master Grade Rule for all categories (men, women, kids, and baby).
Support department Manager in creation/maintenance of block library.
Participate in special projects in addition to completing daily workload.
Support calendar management to hit critical milestones with cross-functional partners for Fit and PP Sample approvals.
Hybrid Schedule - In-office minimum 3 days a week.
What you’ll bring to the team:
College degree in a related field (Product Development, Design, or Technical Design) 5-7 years minimum experience in Technical Design. 4-5 years minimum experience in Kidswear is required. 3-4 years minimum experience in Accessories is required. Experience working with overseas factories/vendors. Proficient in Microsoft and Google applications. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator. Proficient in PLM/PDM systems. Knowledge of garment fit, construction, patternmaking, and grading. Attention to detail. Ability to prioritize workload. Excellent communication and follow-up skills with internal and external partners. Knowledge of pattern design software such as Gerber/Optitex.
