This Event Planner role is with a top Main Line catering company and focuses on the planning and execution of events at a premier venue. Event experience with a catering company or restaurant is required.
Responsibilities include: Executing planning meetings, site inspections, tastings, and post-event event follow-up Promoting and maintaining exceptional customer service while maximizing sales profitability Coordinating with other departments to ensure the quality of guest satisfaction Negotiating with vendors for a variety of goods and services related to event planning Overseeing the planning, managing, and execution of events according to the company’s standards of excellence Monitoring delivery of goods and services to ensure contract terms are satisfied The successful candidate will have : Bachelor’s degree A minimum of three years of catering and event planning experience Wedding planning experience Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Excellent customer service skills Attention to detail Able to multi-task and meet deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and Outlook Experience with Caterease and/or Salesforce a plus Please email angela@abhosp.com a current resume
