We are seeking a talented and experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join our Digital Strategy Team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will work closely with our Director of Digital Engagement and Marketing Automation Manager to align priorities, understand business requirements, and execute strategies for digital communication across various mediums.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Design and Develop Marketing Automation Solutions: Architect, design, and implement marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud to support multi-channel campaigns and solutions. Automation and Personalization: Implement marketing automation rules and triggers to personalize customer interactions. Develop dynamic content and personalized messaging for improved customer engagement. Data Management: Ensure data integrity and quality within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including data imports, cleansing, and segmentation. Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other systems to facilitate data synchronization leveraging API’s and SFTP file drops. Create and manage customer segments and data extensions for targeted messaging. A/B Testing and Optimization: Conduct A/B tests to measure effectiveness and continually optimize content, subject lines, and send times using Einstein and other available tools. Analyze communication performance data and provide recommendations for improvement. Reporting and Analytics: Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to email campaigns. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with digital communication regulations, including CAN-SPAM and TCPA. Stay updated on industry best practices and implement them within the organization. Documentation and Training: Document configurations, processes, and best practices.
Qualifications and Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field is preferred. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification is a must (Certified Marketing Cloud Developer is preferred) Minimum 5+ years’ experience working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Exact Target, including implementation, administration, data architecture, and automation. Strong understanding of digital communication best practices, A/B testing, and marketing automation strategies. Advanced proficiency in SQL and data manipulation for segmentation and reporting. Strong working knowledge of AMPscript, SSJS, and API integrations Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance to non-technical stakeholders. Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the marketing technology landscape.
