Nutis Visual Communications Group | Retail / Business Interior Designer

Nutis Visual Communications Group is seeking an experienced Retail / Business Interior Designer. This ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience designing and implementing interior spaces for retail locations, and other various business interiors such as hospitals, commercial spaces, office buildings, etc. This key role will be responsible for developing and implementing retail and business interior designs that align with client brand identity and ensure a positive customer experience. This is an on-site role based in Columbus, Ohio. Responsibilities: Design, plan and implement projects for client retail, commercial and office spaces Design effective layouts that optimize space, and adapts and translates prototypes for various site conditions and locations Coordinate workflow to meet project deadlines, including site studies, proposed space planning, and approved implementation Manage design budget and pre-construction process Work closely with Architect, Engineer and vendors to deadlines are met efficiently and on time Effectively communicates with all project partners to facilitate the implementation of designs Prepare necessary documentation including select renderings, drawing, floor plans etc. as required Desired Experience and Background: BA degree in Interior Design, Architecture or Retail Design, or a related field 5+ years of work experience in retail interior design or similar role Use of design software; AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch-up or similar Knowledgeable of general code restrictions Strong understanding of retail design principles and modern building spaces Solid project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Organized with ability to prioritize and meet challenges head on Ability to collaborate effectively with a team of diverse business partners This is a full-time career opportunity, offering a competitive salary.
