Jr. or Sr. Audiovisual Technician
with one of the industry's premier Commercial Audio Visual Integrators, renowned for its cutting-edge solutions! They are also one of the largest Security Integrators in U.S. Dive into the forefront of AV innovation, where you'll learn and improve the technical execution of dynamic projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities: Provide AV installation project support. Inventory AV devices and materials intended for installation. Test and verify functionality of newly installed AV systems. Perform AV system maintenance and repair as needed. Solid understanding of cable routing standards (Cable installation and Pathway installation) Mid-level to advanced industry/manufacturer certifications/training, examples include: ( Crestron, Biamp, Forte, QSYS Level 1, Dante, AVIXA, Shure Level 1 and Synaudcon Training (101, 102, 103), BICSI Projector and screen installation Display and mount installation Speaker installation Advanced level rack building Building of 2 and 4 post AV cabinets both floor mount and wall mount Grounding and Bonding of AV systems within cabinets and racks Proper cable management inside AV cabinets and racks Understanding of AV line drawings Understanding the difference between balanced vs. unbalanced audio cabling High level troubleshooting of Layer 2 issues: Networking (IP Conflicts, Firewalls, Routing) Ability to track and document red line drawings Complete understanding, ability to read and interpret construction blueprints accurately Mid-level level loading code and firmware onto AV devices Ability to work remotely with assigned programming personnel Fully test and troubleshoot common AV system issues Communicate clearly with other trades relating to job scope Ability to understand and complete job specific paperwork Aerial lift certification Fall protection certification/training. Effective communication internally and externally. Demonstrating knowledge of looking ahead at potential issues and notifying the appropriate people.
Requirements: OSHA 30. AVIXA CTS Certification or achieving one in the first 6 months Must possess at least a high school diploma or GED equivalency Formal education in electronics or a related field preferred Excellent experience with audiovisual or other electro-mechanical installation techniques, or field servicing. Experience working in public places (schools, city/state offices, etc.) Valid driver’s license required and NO DUI's
