We are seeking an Irrigation Designer to join and grow with our team.
What You’ll Do Design efficient and sustainable irrigation systems for various projects. Evaluate site conditions to determine water availability. Design landscape irrigation systems that meet client requirements and budget constraints. Collaborate with clients and project teams to understand project irrigation needs, requirements, objectives, and budget. Interface with local jurisdictions to ensure designs comply with local regulations and environmental standards. Respond to comments and coordinate with local review agencies. Evaluate site conditions including planting areas, soil conditions, sun exposure, and elevation changes. Determine tap sizing, water availability, and usage requirements. Develop detailed irrigation plans—including layout, materials, and specifications—that meet plant watering requirements. Prepare comprehensive plans and specifications including construction details, equipment, and materials using AutoCAD/Land FX. Collaborate with landscape architects, engineers, and other stakeholders for tap locations, sizing, control box locations, and other pragmatic logistics. Provide water usage analysis charts, estimates, and project timelines. Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in irrigation technology.
What We’re Looking For Credentials Preferred: Certified Irrigation Designer (CID), Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor cer(CLIA). Proven experience as an Irrigation Designer. Proficiency in CAD software. Strong knowledge of irrigation principles, water management, and plant water requirements. You are detail-oriented and collaborative with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You must be well-versed in Colorado local regulations and environmental considerations.
Compensation and Benefits The anticipated range is $65,000-$85,000. Salary is competitive and actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
