Job Summary
The Civil/Structural Designer who performs in this position will support the design and construction of Oil & Gas/Industrial facilities, semiconductor fabrication, manufacturing, and office facilities in our Advanced Tech Facilities Sector and Oil & Gas/ Renewables Sector across the U.S.
Duties/Responsibilities Coordinate structural design on multidiscipline project teams including Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping/Plumbing (MEP) professionals Generate 3D model and prepare drawings (2D or extract from model) with material take offs. Perform drafting check on design drawings. Coordinate with other disciplines for ID check, clash report and review vendor drawings Work with other disciplines to find solutions Present 30% 60% 90% design reviews to stakeholders and multi-discipline teams Comply with all Company and HSE procedures and policies. Required Skills Proficient with AutoCAD and 3D modeling software SP3D and/or Revit. A team player to promote a good working environment. Stable Job History, ability to work in team environment and communicates technical solution effectively is required. Communication skill to interface with other project team members. Able to layout foundations and structures with limited input from Engineer
Education and Experience High School diploma. Associate degree preferred 10 years of experience in structural design of commercial, industrial, or manufacturing industries Field trips and construction support Able to multi-task and be flexible/adapt to rapidly changing project requirements/timelines Design experience in refinery, petrochemical, LNG and other heavy industries. Previous EPC experience would be a bonus
