What you'll be doing
The Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) organization is responsible for leading and planning marketing programs across the Central Marketing (CMO), Sales and Customer Success Organizations, in partnership with Verizon Consumer Groups (the Business Unit). You will lead the end to end Integrated Marketing and Go To Market planning process relative to Financial Services; launch and sustain moments. You'll collaborate with project sponsors and execution partners within CMO and VCG on strategic briefings, act as the single source of truth for program related communications (updates, risks, status, etc.) to all stakeholders, while managing a project timeline to facilitate flawless execution. You will additionally work with our 3rd party partners to ensure alignment on creative direction, legal approvals, and marketing plan optimization.
You'll plan, manage, execute and report on highly complex, multi-channel campaigns and frontline communications that drive demand and prepare consumer facing representatives with the knowledge base needed to position products and services. You will have the authority and independence to ensure that all requirements, communication opportunities and risks of the various objectives are identified, managed and completed in a timely fashion to achieve on time completion of the program and its phases. This role requires the ability to work efficiently, effectively and strategically in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Responsibilities:
Author and present strategic briefs for new initiatives to multiple audiences from working team to executive level overviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business unit product owners, marketing activation, media, retail, social, .COM, PR, CRM, sales, customer success, learning and development, legal) and orchestrate end-to-end strategic planning and execution across paid, owned, and internal communication channels for Financial Services.
Centralize and project manage launch and marketing campaign details, acting as the single point of contact for up-to-date, accurate information to deliver a cohesive campaign.
Own day-to-day stakeholder communications and manage creative/asset reviews, coordinate meetings and logistics, keep detailed and organized project tracking.
What we're looking for...
What you will need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Experience working with creative/design teams, traditional & digital media, digital/cx platforms, marketing research, research strategy, or consumer research methodologies.
Even better if you have:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing.
Master's degree or MBA.
Experience leading a team
Experience translating market knowledge and strategy into compelling stories.
Digital experience of trends and key business drivers.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Experience presenting findings and insights to a targeted audience (up to the executive level).
Agency or consultant experience.
