Overview: Manage seasonal product design execution to achieve overall creative and business objectives.
The Role + Purpose:
Coordinate and unify creative execution of product. Manage creative and technical development of product within merchandise assortment strategy. Research seasonal trends, themes, color, raw materials, and styling. Collaborate with Merchandising, Production, and Technical Design to achieve product execution and maintain design integrity. Conduct footwear fittings. Create design cards for first protos, including measurements and construction details. Approval of lab dips , materials and leather Overseas travel , design research, and to supervise product development. Qualifications:
8+ years Design experience High taste level and creative ability Ability to manage, coach, and develop others Working knowledge of leather and footwear construction. Ability to conduct color/print research Knowledge of seasonal silhouette and color trends Strong illustration/presentation skills Understanding of Madewell Brand, ability to implement into design Proven ability to research and apply market/fashion trend information Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision Detail oriented, good follow through Strong organizational, communication, and written skills Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, and Excel BA Fashion Design

Salary Range: $86,400.00 - $108,000.00
