This senior leadership role involves crafting and disseminating the institution's unique story, coordinating the creation of impactful and timely information, and managing a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy. The successful candidate will be a collaborative and inclusive leader, dedicated to the values of equity, access, and social justice. They will be responsible for media relations, marketing, brand promotion, crisis communications, and will lead a branding and market positioning study to support a brand refresh campaign. Applicants for this role should have a proven track record in brand management, digital marketing, social media communications, and crisis management, ideally within a higher-education context. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to build collaborative relationships, and a sophisticated understanding of the issues facing higher education today. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, demonstrated success in managing teams and multiple projects, and the ability to effectively engage with a variety of constituents. A high level of professionalism, fiscal acumen, and the ability to respond to crises with empathy and intelligence are also essential.
