Beyer Entertainment is seeking a skilled and versatile Audio-Visual Technician to join our team in the Lake Tahoe area. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of audio and visual equipment within our meeting spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality audiovisual experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

· Setup and Strike AV Equipment: Efficiently set up, operate, and dismantle audio and visual equipment for meetings, events, and productions, ensuring all systems function optimally.

· Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of AV equipment, identifying and resolving issues to prevent disruptions during events.

· Technical Support: Provide on-site technical support during events, assisting with audio mixing, lighting adjustments, and visual presentations as needed.

· Collaboration: Work closely with event coordinators and clients to understand their audiovisual needs and provide tailored solutions.

· Inventory Management: Maintain an organized inventory of all AV equipment, ensuring proper storage and care.

· Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AV technology to recommend enhancements and upgrades to existing systems.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as an Audio-Visual Technician or in a similar role.

· Strong knowledge of audio, video, and lighting equipment and systems.

· Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing AV equipment.

· Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.

· A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Relevant certifications in audio/visual technology (e.g., CTS, AVIXA).

· Experience with digital mixing consoles, video switchers, Lighting and projection systems.

· Knowledge of networking and streaming technologies.
