Foth is currently seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented Civil Designer-Waterfront and Coastal Projects who has a desire to contribute to our clients' success and is looking for new learning experiences and career growth opportunities. This position will be based out of Green Bay, WI location.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Work with civil and structural designs to provide detailed AutoCAD drawings for marine infrastructure, waterfront site development, and dredge projects
  • Develop base plans of existing conditions utilizing survey point files
  • Design for waterfront site development including grading, drainage, utilities, pavement, etc.
  • Develop construction plans and surface grading design
  • Develop dredge templates and calculate dredge volumes between existing and proposed surfaces
  • Develop structural drawings including plans, elevations, sections and details including concrete reinforcement and steel details
  • Estimate CAD engineering hours for proposals
  • Oversee and QC engineering work of others (e.g. drawings, calculations, designs, etc.)
  • Document and update drawings for record ("As-Builts")
  • Coordinate with other project disciplines as required

Required Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Civil Design, or a similar technical discipline
  • Expertise using 3D design tools (Specifically AutoCAD Civil 3D)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and communicate on multiple projects
  • Knowledge of current ACI industry standard detailing practices for concrete design
  • Knowledge of current AISC industry standard detailing practices for steel design
  • Structural design background
  • Waterfront civil infrastructure and dredging experience
  • Consulting engineering experience with private and public clients
