JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Social Media Strategist (SSMS) must have a thorough understanding of and facility with all major consumer social media platforms. The SSMS will acquire a basic understanding of IPGH departmental procedures, such as supporting community management, social listening, and competitive analysis efforts for a designated brand/client and will provide support to the overall social media team. They should embody an EDI mindset, striving for conscious inclusion internally and externally, while applying the inQ framework in the strategic development process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Social Media
Possesses a strong understanding of social media landscape and ability to support the larger social team on various projects and initiative.
JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supports social media listening and reporting efforts to uncover conversation topics, trends, and insights.
• Proactively identifies opportunities/threats and conducts a competitive audit.
• Supports community management and monitoring efforts: reply with pre-approved responses and create a comment log.
• Possesses a basic understanding of social media landscape, social media platforms, and current trends.
• Supports and ensures completion of channel QAs, bug reporting, and channel template submissions.
• Be an active contributor to an integrated engagement strategy team.
• Supports social media content development, reviews, content calendar, and launch.
• Ability to work on multiple complex projects and work with internal and external cross functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Supports in compiling social media analytics reports as needed.
• Supports internal and client workshops pertaining to social media and social strategy development.
• Supports new business pitches as well as other FCBH network teams.
EDUCATION:
DEGREE/DIPLOMA AREA OF STUDY REQUIRED/PREFERRED
BA/BBA/BS Marketing, Communications, Liberal Arts, English, or Advertising Preferred
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE:
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AREA OF EXPERTISE REQUIRED/PREFERRED
3+ Year(s) Managing a social media brand page Required
Social media experience working in a regulated Industry Preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Platform Familiarity with all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube) and their key functions, policies, and trends.
Social Media Tools
Familiarity with social media monitoring and reporting tools, such as Sprout Social, Sprinklr.
MS Office
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, and the ability to listen actively and communicate effectively with key business stakeholders.
