We are looking for an experienced event marketer to join our Marketing team as a Senior Event Marketing Manager, reporting to the Head of Global Marketing Events.
In this role, you will support the planning and execution of industry event sponsorships and DT's owned events around the world, from event kickoff through post-event evaluation and ROI tracking. This includes event goal setting and strategy alignment, logistics, coordination, driving the invitation and promotion process, event management, and collecting feedback.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Work closely with multiple business teams and stakeholders, before, during, and after the events to ensure alignment throughout the planning process and successful execution of events.
- Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors and partners to achieve high-quality event delivery.
- Monitor and optimize expenses to maximize output and impact while remaining within the approved budget.
- Collaborate with different internal teams and departments to manage events and swag-related payments and contracts, design assets, etc.
- Conduct ongoing market research of industry trends in event marketing to continuously elevate DT's event production, brand experience and swag.
- Support events in real-time, on-site or remotely, liaising between DT's team, attendees and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
- 4+ years experience in event marketing. Experience in the ad-tech industry - an advantage.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, including anticipating challenges and real-time problem-solving.
- An ability to multitask and handle many moving parts and multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, often requiring flexibility and adaptability.
- A strategic and creative mindset, aiming to create high-impact initiatives that resonate with different target audiences, within budget or other limitations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to collaborate effectively and manage stakeholders across functions and time zones.
- A proven track record of fostering cross-team collaboration and alignment.
- A proactive self-starter with a 'get-the-job-done', 'can-do' attitude.
- Willingness to occasionally travel for domestic and global events.
- Our teams and activities range from APAC to the West Coast and require a flexible working schedule.
- Travel to events or internal meetings may be required from time to time.
- Hybrid but flexible work environment, working from the office 3 days per week.
$115,000 - $135,000 a year
