Sr. Marketing Manager, AWS Search Marketing

Description The AWS Search Marketing team is looking for a paid (SEM) and organic (SEO) search expert to join as a Sr. Marketing Manager. The role will sit within the Search Experience (X) function of the team, focused on developing exceptional experiences for prospects and customers we engage on external search engines such as Google and Bing. This person will be customer obsessed and able to pair data and anecdotes to determine strategic opportunities to make Search a valuable experience to all customers, whether they are creating an AWS account for the first time or have been a long-time customer. This person will be able to define business opportunities and contribute to strategy development. This person will own mechanisms and project roadmaps focused on delivering improved customer journeys and work with stakeholders to iterate on learnings. Key job responsibilities *Be customer obsessed. View search engine activity through the lens of AWS prospects and customers. *Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience through SEO and SEM strategy and tactics. *Utilize data and anecdotes to support decisions. Be comfortable utilizing data and dashboards in a self-serve culture. *Write documents to articulate opportunities to Search marketing team members and other internal stakeholders. *Make recommendations on strategy, investment allocation (ie ad spend or tool investments), and roadmap prioritization. *Ownership on components of programs such as whether paid search campaigns, bidding, or page content recommendations. *Partner with other Search team members to drive value from SEM and SEO while doing so more efficiently through improved processes, automation and AI applications. Basic Qualifications 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) Experience communicating results to senior leadership Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs Experience developing strategies and tactical implementation in paid search (SEM). Preferred Qualifications Experience with Salesforce and Tableau Search marketing strategic application. Comfort in using data to define opportunities across SEO and SEM. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
