Marketing Internship - Summer 2025

Glen Raven is recruiting for a Marketing Intern to assist with our award winning Sunbrella brand as well as other GR brands. We have a select number of intern positions available within our Marketing team at Glen Raven's US headquarters. Interns will gain real-world experience and be exposed to different parts of the organization and marketing processes by working on several types of projects, which may include:

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to planning and execution of overall initiative, such as building awareness and encouraging trial of a new product
  • Assist with message development and draft project briefs & work orders to guide creative development; provide feedback to creative teams to improve effectiveness of collateral
  • Social / digital / website / email content planning & development, as well as post-event analysis
  • Collaborate with and traffic creative assets to agencies and outside partners
  • Perform competitive analyses of messaging, offerings, marketing tactics, etc.
  • Analyze performance of current marketing tactics to inform future efforts
  • Help plan & manage cross-functional projects, such as video/photo shoots
  • Other projects and tasks to support the business and strengthen the brands in our global portfolio
Location:
  • This intern would be expected to follow Glen Raven's hybrid work location policy, currently 3/2 (on site Monday, Wednesday & Thursday; associate's option Tuesday & Friday). These positions would be based on our corporate campus in Burlington, NC.
Duration:
  • 10-12 weeks between May and August with opportunity for extension and/or earlier starting dates. We may have opportunities for students seeking to work part-time during the Spring 2025 semester in addition to over the summer.
Required Candidate Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a degree in Business (Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising, Communications, Management, etc.) or related field; completed at least 2 years of study at an accredited university
  • Be proficient in software such as Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated, yet enjoys teamwork
  • Adaptable and eager to learn
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
