Role Overview
We are in search of a Senior Director of Product Management to spearhead the product strategy for our largest revenue-generating division. In this pivotal leadership role, you will have the opportunity to influence the future of our product portfolio, drive innovation initiatives, and ensure alignment with our long-term business objectives. You will merge strategic vision with hands-on leadership, collaborating with a skilled team to achieve outstanding outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Thought Leadership: Investigate opportunities in eCommerce research, staying ahead of market trends and innovations.
- Customer Insights: Conduct in-depth analysis of the needs, challenges, and objectives of eCommerce sellers to guide product development.
- Competitive Analysis: Track market trends and competitor strategies to sustain our competitive advantage.
- Customer Engagement: Forge enduring relationships with customers to collect valuable feedback and enhance our product offerings.
- Product Strategy: Establish and implement the vision for the research product portfolio, setting objectives and directing the product roadmap.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, design, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure effective execution of product strategies.
Required Skills
- Over 15 years of product management experience, particularly in SaaS, eCommerce, Data Analytics Platforms, or AdTech. Experience in Social Media Commerce is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strategic mindset coupled with effective problem-solving skills.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of the eCommerce ecosystem, including platforms like Amazon and Walmart.
- Proficiency in agile product development methodologies.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant product management experience.
- Strong emphasis on SaaS, eCommerce, Data Analytics Platforms, or AdTech disciplines.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Deep familiarity with the eCommerce landscape.
