Amazon is looking for a customer-obsessed, entrepreneurial Senior Marketing Manager to join the Amazon Fresh In-Store, Field and Launch Marketing team.
We are seeking a passionate, world-class leader to drive strategy and tactical planning to directly impact value perception with customers. In this role, you will work with Pricing & Promotions, Operations, Merchandising, Finance, Creative and Retail teams to uncover opportunities, drive strategy and smart marketing communications in our physical grocery stores with a goal of improving value perception metrics. You will lead new, high-impact projects as well as drive improvements to existing processes in a complex space to translate pricing and promotional strategies in a clear and concise manner for our customers. You will be responsible for defining business requirements for compelling pricing and promotional strategies, oversee tactical development and implementation to better tell our promotional stories across marketing channels including in-store, and continue to experiment and optimize to better engage with customers taking into account key trends and regional nuances. You will have a high level of comfort navigating ambiguity, the ability to investigate complex challenges and can effectively influence cross-functional stakeholders. You work backwards from the customer, apply innovative thinking and dive deep to identify and mitigate gaps.

Key job responsibilities
• Own the holistic visual and messaging strategy for value across the in-store channel
• Work with pricing & promotions teams to define and drive an effective customer communications plan across marketing channels
• Build the roadmap with product and tech teams to drive consistent, omnichannel execution of pricing and promotional strategies across all customer communication touchpoints
• Work with creative and customer insights teams to develop engaging promotional content, improving customer engagement and conversion metrics
• Remain analytical and a true cross-functional partner to influence pricing strategies leading to more compelling offers and regionally relevant tactical implementation
• Determine metrics for success and report on progress to goals up to the most senior leadership in the organization
• Understand the nuances of the in-store physical environment and customer segments to implement new concepts in a scalable and effective manner
• Travel to various locations to inform and implement new tactics and strategies
Basic Qualifications

6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
-
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership

Experience prior success in driving execution of large-scale project plans with multiple teams in support of business goals
Preferred Qualifications

Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

Experience creating and managing complex, cross-team project plans

Experience working in brick and mortar retail is preferred

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
