This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office work every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. Attendance at the office on all three in-office days is mandatory Overview The ideal candidate for our art director position will passionately strive to move the agency’s creative agenda forward. Works closely with copywriter partner to develop ideas for all forms of communication, recognizing that today’s constantly changing media and technology offers new tools and demands new approaches and solutions. Strong digital experience. Creative excellence is essential. Must have a dedication, persistence and passion for relevant, groundbreaking ideas, be organized and an excellent communicator. Spanish is a plus. Responsibilities Contribute original ideas for ad campaigns. Brainstorm copy ideas and creative angles for a client’s ad materials; conceptualize, imagine, and develop executions for television, social media, digital, outdoor, and other media opportunities. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Demonstrate how ideas align with both brand and media strategies. Ensure visual communication and brand standards are consistently met. Possess strong understanding and mastery of typography, layout, and imagery. Have solid knowledge of composition, color theory, and attention to detail. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams (accounts, planning, and social media) to determine client needs. Attend shoots and editing sessions; supervise the production team. Oversee and approve executions throughout the production process, working with designers, producers, directors, photographers, and illustrators on multiple projects. Create the creative deck presented to the client (ideas, visual references, mock-ups, executions, etc.). Present concepts and solutions clearly and effectively, both within the agency and to clients. Respond to feedback promptly and efficiently. Meet all deadlines while managing multiple projects. Deliver ideas and work that exceed creative expectations and client business goals. Stay curious about the latest trends, tools, and evolving forms of communication and storytelling. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in advertising, interactive or design related program 4+ years of experience in advertising agencies. Portfolio or reel must demonstrate the ability to create work that appeals to diverse audiences, with strong conceptual ideas across various media. A portfolio with 360 campaigns is preferred. Knowledge of and experience in the Hispanic market are highly regarded. Proven experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, particularly in mockups, design, multimedia presentations, typography, and photo retouching. Experience with AI tools and video editing will be valued. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. Compensation Range: $66,785.00 - $96,690.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
